Application Engineer - Colombia
Location: Colombia
Position: Full - time
Work Schedule: M-F 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
Main Objective
Design and draw shop and installation drawings and provide support to supervisors during the Field Installation process.
Role and Responsibilities
These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist in the design and development of current and new products.

Make all necessary drawings (2D & 3D) and details for the manufacturing process.

Create jigs in the manufacturing process and provide all information necessary to understand the manufacturing of every component, eventually with 3rd party fabricator.

Provide systems pricing proposals.

Monitor Quality control of the fabricated parts of all MHE systems

Provide design and specification development support to consultants
-
Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application.

Organize Engineering files in Sharepoint and local server.
Qualifications and Education Requirements

Education: bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

Experience: 2 – 4 years

Bilingual (English – Spanish)

Software Skills: AutoCAD 2D, Autodesk Inventor (3D)

Mechanical Knowledge of sortation equipment such as Hang Sorter, Tilt Sorter, Bombay Sorter, Polytube and Rail Systems, Power System, and Conveyor supports.
