Position: Full-Time

Work Schedule: Flexible- Travel position 

• Evaluate sites for the installation of equipment; 
• Identifies, analyzes, and repairs systems failures 
• Install new components or parts. 
• Develops creative solutions to more unique, chronic, or complex issues. 
• Answers difficult customer questions about systems features, recommends appropriate upgrades.  
• Performs start up testing and customer training on features and general maintenance of the systems  
• Install and connect applicable cables; 
• Install applicable equipment (with racks if needed); 
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues; 
• Coordinate pick-up and delivery of equipment. 
• May mentor less experienced engineers and verify work.  

• Years of relevant experience: 3-7+ years of related experience. 
• Education:preferred Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechatronics, or controls engineering. 
• 80% travel, implementing, testing, and debugging their design solution. Occasionally travel to South America or Canada 
• A typical DC will have conveyors with approximately 100-250 controlling motors 
• Applicant must be a good communicator, be poised under pressure, and be able to work directly with end customers 
• Must be familiar with PLC-type control and PC based flow-chart controls 
• Knowledge of HMI and machine control, with specific experience in Microsoft .NET, MS SQL Server, Beckhoff (TwinCAT) controls software, and OPC 
• Must be familiar with and able to use AutoCad 
• Must have good knowledge of PCs and Windows operating system 
• Has extensive knowledge of the organization's systems and is considered an expert.  
• Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.  
• Goals are generally communicated in solution or project goal terms.
