Account Executive
Location: Remote in US
Position: Full-Time
Main Objective
Responsible for leading the sales process to provide new and existing customers with turn-key system solutions for automated material handling equipment and act as key customer liaison throughout the sales process. This process involves understanding the customer’s needs, business, project goals, and developing solutions to meet their requirements.
Role and Responsibilities
These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Generate opportunities utilizing tools such as LinkedIn, cold calls, emails, networking, and attending trade shows
- Qualify opportunities, gathering data, developing proposals, leading solution development process, presenting solutions to customers
- Chase leads and follow up on opportunities to generate new sales
- Engaging positively with colleagues to generate creative solutions
- Working as customer’s liaison throughout sales process to maximum customer value
- Travel to meet with prospective clients in North America and arrange to attend industry conferences and events
- Update sales activity and other administrative work
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 4-year / BS Degree in Engineering or related Field
- Graduate Degree MS or MBA preferred
- 6+ years experience selling automated material handling solutions
Knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of material handling technologies and how they are applied
- Ability to lead a solution development team, detailed design process
- Knowledge of complex data sets and data analysis processes related to this industry, and ability to explain summarized data analysis to clients
- Ability to lead detailed design process, both internally & externally
- Prior AutoStore experience preferred
