Business Development Manager (Mexico)

Location: Mexico City, MX

Position: Full-Time

Main Objective

Create sales opportunities by engaging with prospective customers, understanding customer requirements and developing proposals to address customers’ needs.

 

 

Role and Responsibilities

These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Search for information, establish contacts and prospect new customers.
  • Filter opportunities, create awareness of the company and build technical and commercial proposals of value with 
    the assistance of the Engineering Department.
  • Represent the company in events, before prospects, customers or institutions to establish business relationships 
    of trust, especially with end users and people involved in the final purchase decision.
  • Develop a sales plan for each identified business opportunity and lead the business process from the first contact 
    to the implementation of the solution.
  • Actively participate with the Engineering team, in the development of the solution and the proposal.
  • Identify market trends and report to the Commercial Management of LATAM.
  • Share leads with all members of the Latin American sales team.
  • Weekly progress report to the Commercial Management of LATAM.
  • Visit clients or attend business meetings in the office when needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Education: Mechanical, electrical, systems engineer or similar background enough for the candidate to quickly become familiar with the areas of design and engineering, desirable

  • Experience in sales of services for warehouses and distribution centers.
  • Experience in automation of intralogistics operations projects is highly desirable.
  • Experience in complex consultative sales. Must build relationships with several decision makers to reach a
    consensus and get the acceptance of the technical-commercial proposal
  • This position has a quota min of $3,500,000 annually.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • High skills in Office suite and experience with CRM software
  • Availability to travel within the country and, eventually, abroad (15-20%)
  • US valid visa is desirable.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Travel requirements: include the ability to travel via airplane and drive an automobile.
